The zones are frown lines, forehead and crow's feet. Which and how many zones make sense is decided together in the consultation, not by the price list. Prices are final prices under the German medical fee schedule (GOÄ).

Which substance do we use?

We use a botulinum toxin preparation licensed in Germany, which weakens the signal from nerve to muscle for a few months. Dr. Grawunder decides on the preparation and the amount after examining your facial movement. The aim is a relaxed, mobile face — not a frozen one.

Which lines do we treat?

Expression lines are caused by muscles that contract when you frown, raise your brows or smile. They can be treated by reducing that muscle activity in a targeted, temporary way.

• Frown lines — the vertical lines between the brows
• Forehead lines — the horizontal lines when you raise your brows
• Crow's feet — the fine lines beside the eyes when you smile
• Other areas (e.g. bunny lines, chin, neck bands) are discussed in the consultation

How your treatment works

1. Consultation (approx. 20 min) — Dr. Grawunder examines your expression at rest and in motion, explains effect, alternatives and risks, and makes a concrete proposal with a price.
2. Treatment (approx. 10–15 min) — in the same appointment if you wish. A few fine injections; most patients feel a brief pinch.
3. Afterwards — you can go straight back to your day. First effect after 3–7 days, full effect after about 14 days.
4. Follow-up after 14 days — included. Adjusted if needed.

The effect lasts around 3–4 months; the treatment can then be repeated.

Risks and side effects

Common but brief: small redness or swelling at the injection points, occasionally a bruise. Rare: headache in the first days, or a temporarily drooping brow or eyelid (ptosis) that resolves within 2–4 weeks. The treatment is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with certain neuromuscular conditions. We explain all risks to you personally before treatment.

Is this a Botox treatment?

Colloquially, treatment of expression lines is often called that. "Botox" is one manufacturer's brand name. We use a botulinum toxin preparation licensed in Germany; which one is discussed in your consultation.

What exactly does it cost?

When will I see the result, and how long does it last?

Will I look unnatural?

The aim is that you look rested, not different. Dr. Grawunder doses so that your expression is preserved. Adjustments are made at the 14-day follow-up if needed.

Does it hurt?

A few very fine injections. Most people feel a brief pinch; anaesthetic is normally not needed.

Can I be treated straight away in the consultation?

Yes, if there is no medical reason against it and you wish to. Book the consultation; treatment in the same appointment is possible.
