THE PROCESS
Your treatment begins with a thorough facial analysis. Dr. Grawunder reviews your PRIME Profile data, examines your facial muscle patterns at rest and during expression, and discusses your goals. Using 3D imaging, she maps the precise injection points tailored to your anatomy.
The treatment area is cleansed. Topical numbing is available but rarely needed — the injections use ultra-fine needles that most patients describe as a brief pinch. The entire preparation takes approximately 5 minutes.
Small, precisely measured doses of Bocouture® are injected into the targeted muscles using micro-injection technique. Common treatment areas include forehead lines, frown lines (glabellar region), and crow’s feet around the eyes. The number of injection points and units used varies based on your individual assessment.
You may resume normal activities immediately. Dr. Grawunder provides specific aftercare instructions, including avoiding lying flat for 4 hours and refraining from intense exercise for 24 hours. A follow-up assessment is scheduled at 2 weeks to evaluate your results and make any refinements if needed.

Small red marks may be visible at injection sites for 1-2 hours. Slight swelling or tenderness is normal and resolves quickly. You can return to work, social activities, and most daily routines immediately. Makeup may be applied after 4 hours.
