Skin boosters are injectable treatments designed to hydrate, firm, and improve overall skin quality from within. Unlike dermal fillers that add volume or reshape features, skin boosters deliver active ingredients directly into the dermis to stimulate the skin’s own regenerative processes — resulting in healthier, more luminous skin over time.
At WunderLife, Dr. med. Désirée Grawunder offers three clinically proven skin booster systems, each selected for a specific therapeutic role:
A patented formulation combining hyaluronic acid with six amino acids (including glycine, proline, and lysine) that work synergistically to regenerate the extracellular matrix — the structural scaffolding that keeps skin firm and resilient. Sunekos is particularly effective for delicate areas such as the under-eyes, forehead, and neck where skin is thin and fine lines appear early.
One of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid available in an injectable treatment. Profhilo uses hybrid cooperative technology to spread evenly beneath the skin, delivering intense hydration and stimulating both collagen and elastin production. It excels at bio-remodelling — improving skin tone, firmness, and elasticity across the mid and lower face, neck, and décolletage.
A polyrevitalising mesotherapy cocktail by Filorga containing over 50 active ingredients: hyaluronic acid, 14 vitamins, 24 amino acids, minerals, coenzymes, and antioxidants. NCTF delivers comprehensive nourishment to the skin at a cellular level, boosting hydration, radiance, and collagen production simultaneously. It is ideal for tired, dull, or nutrient-depleted skin.
THE PROCESS
All three skin boosters are administered via micro-injections into the superficial to mid-dermal layers of the skin. The specific technique varies by product:
Delivered through multiple micro-injections using fine-gauge needles. The hyaluronic acid and amino acid blend stimulates fibroblast activity, promoting new collagen and elastin synthesis while regenerating the extracellular matrix. A typical course involves four sessions spaced one week apart for Sunekos 200, or three sessions spaced three weeks apart for Sunekos 1200.
Injected at five specific Bio Aesthetic Points (BAP) on each side of the face. The product’s unique rheological properties allow it to diffuse evenly through the tissue, providing broad hydration and bio-remodelling without the need for extensive injection points. Two sessions spaced four weeks apart form the standard protocol, with maintenance every four to six months.
Administered via mesotherapy technique — multiple superficial micro-injections across the treatment area using fine needles or a mesotherapy device. The 50+ active ingredients penetrate the dermis to nourish, hydrate, and stimulate cellular renewal. A standard protocol involves three sessions spaced three weeks apart, with maintenance courses recommended twice yearly.
Dr. Grawunder selects the appropriate skin booster — or a strategic combination — based on your PRIME Profile assessment, specific concerns, and treatment goals.
IDEAL CANDIDATES
Skin boosters are suitable for virtually anyone seeking to improve their skin’s health, hydration, and resilience. They are particularly beneficial for:
Sunekos is ideal for targeted repair of delicate, thin skin — especially around the eyes and forehead. Choose this if collagen rebuilding and extracellular matrix repair are the priority.
Profhilo is best for broad hydration and skin tightening across the mid and lower face, neck, and décolletage. Choose this for overall firmness and a rapid hydration boost.
NCTF 135HA is optimal for nutrient-depleted, tired, or dull skin that needs comprehensive revitalisation. Choose this for an all-round skin health reset.
Many patients benefit from combining two or more skin boosters in a planned treatment sequence. Dr. Grawunder recommends the right product or combination based on your PRIME Profile results.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
A topical numbing cream is applied before the procedure for comfort. The chosen skin booster is then administered via micro-injections — the number of injection points and depth varies by product. Most patients describe the sensation as very tolerable. Sessions typically take 30–45 minutes.
Mild redness, small raised papules, or slight swelling at injection sites are normal and typically resolve within hours to two days. Profhilo may produce small bumps at the five injection points that flatten within 24 hours. NCTF micro-papules fade within one to two days.
You can resume normal activities immediately. Avoid vigorous exercise, saunas, swimming pools, and direct sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Do not apply makeup for at least 12 hours. Use a gentle moisturiser and SPF 50 daily.
Profhilo delivers noticeable hydration and firmness within days of the first session. Sunekos results build gradually over the treatment course, with significant improvement in skin texture and elasticity by session three or four. NCTF provides an immediate radiance boost with cumulative improvements in skin quality over three sessions. All skin boosters produce natural-looking enhancement — your skin simply looks healthier, fresher, and more luminous.
SAFETY & SCIENCE
All three skin booster systems offered at WunderLife are CE-marked, extensively studied, and widely used in European aesthetic medicine.
Contains non-animal-derived hyaluronic acid and pharmaceutical-grade amino acids. It is classified as vegan-friendly. Clinical studies demonstrate significant improvements in skin elasticity, hydration, and collagen density. The treatment has an excellent safety profile with adverse effects limited to mild, transient injection-site reactions.
Produced using patented NAHYCO™ technology that stabilises high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid without chemical cross-linking agents. This makes it one of the purest HA-based injectables available. Multiple randomised controlled trials confirm its efficacy in bio-remodelling and skin quality improvement. Results typically last six to nine months.
Developed by Laboratoires FILLMED (formerly Filorga) and backed by over 40 years of mesotherapy research. A multicentre randomised controlled study confirmed that NCTF 135HA significantly reduces superficial wrinkles and improves facial radiance compared to topical treatment alone. The product contains non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, making it fully biocompatible and resorbable.
Side effects across all three products are mild and temporary: localised redness, small papules, slight swelling, and occasional minor bruising. These resolve within hours to days. Skin boosters are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, for patients with active skin infections, or those with known hypersensitivity to any ingredient.
All skin booster treatments are personally performed by Dr. med. Désirée Grawunder. Product selection is based on clinical assessment, not trend or preference. Treatment plans are documented and reviewed at each session.
THE PRIME PROTOCOL
Skin boosters integrate seamlessly across multiple phases of the PRIME Protocol:
Within the BAM Framework, skin boosters primarily serve the Aesthetic pillar but support Body as well — healthy, well-nourished skin is the visible expression of internal balance.
